Wall Murals

A segmented wall mural created and produced at Prolab for Tangalooma Island Resort, which is proudly on display in the resort’s restaurant. Pre-Production of this job entailed careful scanning of the original historical photographs and records, restored by Prolab, and then composed into a giant 40 square meter mural for printing through our wide format UV Printer, with a protective Matt Laminate to finish off the display.

The original artwork consisted of archival photographs and documents of barge information dating back to the early 20th century. The feedback from the guests on the island during the festive break has been exceptionally positive, the historical value of the content fascinated them while they enjoyed a meal in the restaurant.
