Stone Axe Pastoral Company Office Fit-Out: Custom Canvas Wall Art for a Modern Brisbane Workspace

The project combined striking rural landscape photography with premium canvas production and custom framing to create a sophisticated visual connection between the company’s people, product, and pastoral heritage.
Creating Artwork That Reflects the Brand
Stone Axe Pastoral Company wanted to incorporate imagery that reflected their agricultural roots while complementing the modern architectural features of their office space.
The brief centred around two key installations:
- A large triptych landscape canvas set
- A statement bull portrait canvas in a custom floater frame
The result is a cohesive collection that celebrates the Australian landscape and premium Wagyu production while enhancing the office environment.
Large-Scale Triptych Landscape Canvas
The centrepiece of the project is a three-panel canvas installation featuring a panoramic pastoral landscape.
Each canvas panel was produced at:
- 700mm W × 1200mm H
- 40mm gallery-wrapped canvas
- Mirror-wrapped outer edges
- Professional hanging system installed
Rather than allowing the image to wrap across the edges and interrupt the continuity between panels, we carefully prepared the artwork so that the image remains uninterrupted across the face of the triptych while using mirror wrapping on the outside edges only.
This approach maintains the integrity of the landscape while delivering a clean gallery-style presentation.

The finished installation provides a strong visual focal point within the open-plan office and works beautifully with the exposed timber beams and contemporary interior finishes.
Statement Bull Portrait in Custom Floater Frame
To complement the landscape installation, we produced a dramatic black-and-white portrait of a Stone Axe Wagyu bull.
Specifications included:
- 1000mm W × 1450mm H
- Premium stretched canvas
- Custom matte black floater frame
- D-ring hanging system
The monochromatic treatment creates a powerful contrast against the surrounding white walls while reinforcing the premium positioning of the Stone Axe brand.

The Next Stage: Custom Hema Acrylic Map
Following completion of the canvas installations, Stone Axe commenced discussions around adding a custom-branded Hema Australia map to the office.
The preferred option is a premium acrylic-mounted presentation, utilising a licensed high-resolution production file supplied directly from Hema under a controlled one-time production agreement.
Once complete, the map will further enhance the space while providing a practical and visually impressive feature that reflects the company’s national footprint.
