At Prolab, we recently had the privilege of collaborating with Loucas Zahos Architects to produce and frame a striking series of large format SwissQ metal prints for their New Farm studio. Known for their refined, modernist approach to architecture, Loucas Zahos wanted their workspace to reflect the same standard of design excellence they bring to every project.
Delivering Museum Grade SwissQ Metal Prints
Each artwork was printed in house at Prolab on our high resolution SwissQ flatbed printer, a technology that produces unmatched detail and durability, ideal for large format presentation. The subject matter captured stunning architectural details from some of Loucas Zahos’ own built environments, transforming their studio walls into an immersive design narrative.
Our metal print process delivers sharp, vibrant images with a satin finish that resists glare while preserving rich tonal depth, especially important in artworks featuring strong architectural lines, light play, and texture.
Custom Black Float Frames to Complete the Look
To complement the contemporary nature of the prints, each panel was professionally mounted in a custom black aluminium float frame. The float frame not only protects the artwork but also adds dimensional presence, creating the illusion that the print is hovering within the frame. It’s a minimalist solution that enhances the work without distracting from it.
We collaborated closely with the Loucas Zahos team to ensure every detail, from sizing to mounting, met their expectations. The result is a polished and cohesive installation that elevates their studio environment.
