Custom Oversized Splash Back

Recently Prolab was approached to digitally reproduce two sections of 3cm thick marble to an optical resolution, suitable to produce a custom kitchen splashback.

The final dimensions of the finished display measured 760 x 3000 mm, the finished work was produced on Kodak Premier Metallic Photographic Paper and mounted using an Optically Clear Adhesive to the rear of the 6 mm Extruded Toughened Glass Sheet, the finished piece had 3.3 mm ACM Produced Art-mounted to the rear, enabling for easy installation of the finished product, and increasing the profile to 10 mm. With areas pre-cut for power outlets. The results are simply stunning, and unique to this client’s requirements, as shown in the images attached.
