Capturing the Aerial Beauty of Australia — New Fine Art Canvas Series by Francois Detaille
We recently had the pleasure of producing a striking collection of four large-scale canvas artworks for Queensland photographer Francois Detaille, known for his breathtaking aerial landscapes that reveal the natural patterns, textures, and colours of Australia’s diverse terrain.
Each image tells a powerful story of the country’s salt lakes, river systems, and coastal wetlands — photographed from above with meticulous attention to composition and light. Precision Printing and Handcrafted Finishing at Prolab
For this latest collection, we printed each artwork on archival fine art canvas, stretched on 40 mm gallery wrap frames, and finished with premium Oak float frames for a refined contemporary presentation. Measuring approximately 1300 × 870 mm each, the works were meticulously colour-balanced and printed using Prolab’s calibrated large-format systems to ensure accurate tonal depth and long-term archival quality.
Every framed canvas was sealed, wired, and inspected by hand — ready for immediate wall display. The subtle natural oak finish complements the vivid palette of Francois’s aerial imagery, enhancing the organic forms and textures within each piece.
