Displaying Your Artwork at Prolab: A Guide for Artists
At Prolab, we are excited to collaborate with talented artists like you to showcase your work while promoting our fine art printing and conservation framing services. This document outlines how the display process works and what you can expect from our partnership.
Step 1: Selecting Your Artwork
- Choose one of your favourite pieces to be printed and framed for display at Prolab.
- We will cover the costs of producing the first display piece, including printing and framing, ensuring no upfront cost to you.
Step 2: Production Details
- The production includes:
- Any fine art printing, SwissQ printing, or framing services offered by Prolab or Jubilee Framers.
- We can provide you with the costs of producing these services, which will be safely offset and deducted only upon a successful sale of the artwork.
- You will set the retail price for the piece, reflecting its value to your audience.
Step 3: Display at Prolab
- Your artwork will be prominently displayed at Prolab, showcasing your talent to our visitors.
- We will feature your artwork in a joint social media post to maximize exposure. (Refer to our previous collaboration with Phoebe Paradise for an example: Instagram Post)
Step 4: Selling Your Artwork
- Once your artwork sells:
- Prolab will deduct the cost of producing your next replacement piece from the sale proceeds.
- The remaining balance will be transferred to you.
Step 5: Replacing Sold Artwork
- You can choose to replace the sold artwork with:
- The same piece (if desired), or
- A new selection from your collection.
